Amazon Halo Engagement Marketing
Created and managed engagement content strategy for Amazon Halo email, app, and Amazon onsite communications. Launched new segmentation and targeting strategy to drive in-app engagement and subscription signups. Created a roadmap for push notifications in the app to drive engagement and relevant content to subscribers based on subscription cycle type, Halo device type, and app features used over trailing 30 and 90 days.
Optimized Halo monthly email updates to attain average send rate of 75%, open rate of 65%, opt out rate of 0.13%. Ran a two month long welcome series email test to drive overall app engagement for new Halo customers. Increased open rate by 20% and decreased the opt out rate by 25%.
Created and optimized welcome email series that highlighted Halo’s best features. This was a series of 5 emails, that was optimized into 3 after a two month test.
Welcome Email Education Series
Amazon Halo’s Quick Start Guide (QSG) was the most successful device email in 2021. This was an important part of onboarding new customers and similar subscription devices use a similar template after the success. In 2021, the QSG had the highest open rate of 69% out of any Amazon owned device.

I worked closely with the partnerships team to create a GTM launch of Russell Wilson’s new content in the Halo App. This included email, in-app merchandising, and social media posts.
